I am partnering with several faith organizations and the Centers for Disease Control to develop culturally appropriate, health equity messaging for communities of color. We were trying hard to gather when the pandemic hit. When we started to return to in person worship, our CCC Moderator and “Organizer Extraordinaire”, Michelle Ingram, offered to assist my efforts. And Gloria Chan, CCC Member Care and Fellowship, was ready to pick up co-hosting where we left off a couple of years ago. This is our time to say hello, be affirmed and share our creative joy.

So here we go, friends.

February is all about the heart. We celebrate Black History Month. February is the “Go Red for Women” Month by the American Heart Association and the Centers for Disease Control. And a favorite among schoolkids and sweethearts of all ages, Valentine’s DAY!

Come to this virtual conversation - Chat & Chew/Meet & Greet/ Dream & Scheme (you get the idea). We will enjoy break-out rooms. This is intentionally brave space for women of color to  recall our belongingness, to be creative and to get to know each other a bit.

Our Pastor Matt has given his blessing and encouragement. He has even offered his Pastor’s Study in the event we wish to have post worship discussions in the future. You are EXACTLY who we want to show up for this time of connection.
