"COVID Protocols for HUGGERS" 

Greetings CCC Woman of Color,

You are warmly invited to a conversation on “Covid Protocols for Huggers” on Sunday February 12th, at 5:00pm. For Women of Color, Only. I want your voice in coming up with “sister protocols” and slogans.

Our Sunday conversation of CCC Women of Color will feature door prizes, laughter, and lots of lovingkindness. We will give away a $100.00 gift card for First Place for best "COVID Protocols for Huggers" and a $50.00 gift card for Second Place. Rumi’s Little Book of the Heart--filled with love poetry for the Divine, for honorable mentions. We have carefully curated gifts for you!

The Black Church and Domestic Violence Institute (BCDVI), a national educational ministry, was founded in 1997 to address the cultural chasm between communities of faith and the violence against women movement. BCDVI supports clergy training to provide culturally competent education on intimate partner violence and other public health crises.

The Rev. Aubra Love, Founding Executive Director, is an ordained minister whose standing is held in the Central Atlantic Conference of the United Church of Christ. A public theologian, pastor and movement ethicist for more than 25 years, Rev. Love is a graduate of Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and the Morehouse School of Religion at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, GA.

Getting to Yes, Michigan is a program that aims to increase knowledge and acceptance of COVID-19 vaccines. Churches across Michigan are taking part in this important effort to reach out to their community members. Resources are available online for church leaders desiring to increase vaccination rates within their congregations.
